By booking a tour with Explorebounds (referred to in these conditions as “we” or “us”), you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all other persons using our services under your booking.
Once you have agreed on the quoted itinerary and price, we will provide a detailed itinerary and invoice with payment details. Your booking is confirmed once we receive the initial deposit of 30% of your invoice.
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and bank transfer.
30%: Initial deposit at booking.
70% balance: Payable locally to our staff.
Remaining balance can be paid in Euros, US Dollars, UK Sterling, or Moroccan Dirhams in cash.
Credit card or PayPal payments are accepted with an additional 5% processing fee.
Remaining balance must be paid on site prior to departure in Euros, US Dollars, UK Sterling, or Moroccan Dirhams.
If you choose to pay the balance via credit card locally or PayPal before arrival, a 20% VAT + 5% processing fee will apply.
We will make every effort to accommodate changes without additional fees. However:
Changes requested less than 15 days before travel may not be possible.
All changes must be requested and confirmed in writing.
If changes cannot be made, you may either proceed with the original booking or cancel (subject to cancellation fees below).
If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges depend on the type of booking and timing:
More than 15 days: Full deposit refunded.
4–14 days: Deposit retained as cancellation fee.
Less than 3 days: Full tour fee charged.
More than 15 days: Full deposit refunded.
4–14 days: Deposit retained as cancellation fee.
Less than 3 days: Full tour fee charged.
More than 15 days: Full deposit refunded.
4–14 days: Deposit retained as cancellation fee.
Less than 3 days: Full trip/activity fee charged.
More than 7 days: Full deposit refunded.
2–6 days: Deposit retained as cancellation fee.
Less than 2 days: Full trip/activity fee charged.
Explorebounds reserves the right to cancel or amend tours due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Political unrest, war, riots, or terrorism
Strikes or transport issues
Extreme weather conditions
In such cases, we will refund any payments made, including deposits, but we are not liable for additional compensation.
Any special requirements (dietary, medical, mobility assistance, etc.) must be provided in writing before booking. We will forward the information to our partners. If requests cannot be met, we will notify you before confirming your booking.
Preferences such as hotel location or bed type will be accommodated where possible, but no compensation will be given if such requests cannot be fulfilled.
Children under 12 years old are not permitted on shared desert tours or day trips, for the comfort of all travelers.
They are, however, welcome on shared half-day activities (camel rides, quad biking).
Families with children are encouraged to book private tours and day trips.
If a child’s age is misrepresented at booking and revealed upon arrival, Explorebounds reserves the right to deny service without refund.
Explorebounds does not provide travel insurance. It is your full responsibility to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering:
Medical expenses
Trip cancellations
Delays and lost baggage
Personal liability
Explorebounds is responsible for ensuring that the services described in your confirmed itinerary are delivered at a reasonable standard. Compensation (limited to the amount paid for the affected service) may be considered if services fail due to our fault.
We are not responsible for:
Personal injury, illness, or death
Loss or damage to property
Situations outside our control (e.g., weather, accidents, third-party negligence)
Travelers are responsible for holding valid travel documents:
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months before entry.
Visas and other entry requirements must be arranged by the traveler.
Explorebounds is not liable for denied entry due to incomplete travel documents.
We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. The information you provide is used only for booking purposes and shared with partners (hotels, guides, drivers, etc.) as required.
By booking with Explorebounds, you consent to the use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your trip:
Please notify your guide, driver, or hotel immediately so the issue can be resolved.
